8M2MAR
The 8M2MAR project consists of designing equipment for different urban contexts, such as parks, squares, seating areas, etc. It starts from a specific context, the urban regeneration project of the Other Neighbourhoods Initiative, but with the prospect of extending it to other spaces.
On land, the equipment aims to recreate the waves of the sea, allowing users to relax and unwind in public spaces, as well as more spontaneous uses in children's playgrounds.
The concept is based on transforming eight square metres of land into the sea, modelling this piece of public space with a new materiality, for a different way of being, close to the sensation of enjoying the sea.
